In order to secure an oven clean with a technician, we ask for a deposit. This indicates our website users are genuine, and helps the network run smoothly.
The deposit (£10.00) is paid via PayPal or debit card once you have entered your details into the contact form, (this helps us allocate your deposit). Your contact information is then passed on to the appropriate member, who will contact you to discuss at date for your clean.
If we do not have a member available, we will refund your deposit within 5 working days. We will also issue a refund of the deposit for the following reasons..
The technician cannot offer you a suitable date within two weeks.
The technician/member cancelled the service before they arrived, due to no fault of your own. And they have not offered any suitable new dates within 1 week. You must contact Click4 directly for a refund of the deposit, (issued within 5 working days).
The technician did not arrive within 1 hour of the appointment and subsequently, has not offered a new suitable date within 1 week.
The technician did not show up within 1 hour of the appointment or attempt to contact you
Additionally, you can reschedule your clean twice, again please contact the technician directly to rearrange. Unfortunately, we do not offer a refund of the deposit unless you cancelled because of a family illness or bereavement.
Professional oven cleaning involves more than just a quick scrub and wipe, unless of course it is not very dirty, but then you can probably just do it yourself? Whether you hate doing it, are not physically able to or want it to have a deeper clean. Our technicians will perform their magic, and in just a couple of hours (single) have it looking great, even like new!
But, there are different makes and models of ovens, some allow easy access to inside the door, others do not allow access at all.
Many modern ovens have a enamel type material often Smeg, Neff and Bosch. This material if untouched for a good couple years can be really difficult to clean.
Unfortunately, Click4 - Oven Cleaning, and it's network technicians cannot guarantee to get any oven perfect. They will aim to get it looking as close to new as possible within the time frame allocated.
We rarely have any problems with the quality of work from our members, but please appreciate they can only do their best. But we are sure you will be pleased with the results, and the majority of times your oven will be looking almost like new.
Reasons we cannot guarantee perfect results..
Access to the roof is restricted due to elements.
Dirt on the roof of the oven can be extremely hard to remove, as less force can be applied upside down.
If an oven/hob or extractor is over 5-10 years old and never been professionally cleaned.
The door/and or glass cannot be removed or accessed to clean inside due to the manufacturers design.
The network consists of self employed independent oven cleaners, who are provided with provisional bookings through our website and social media. We are also oven cleaning specialists ourselves with 8 years experience, and still clean ovens ourselves. Click4 also offers training and support to new individuals wishing to enter this field.
All members must provide up-to date insurance documents. They are either trained by ourselves which includes 3 day on the job training. Or if they are existing oven cleaners we check and vet them.
Each member whether they are a company or individual are responsible for their own actions, and are assigned to an agreement with the network.
If in the unlikely event you have an issue with the quality of the work or operative/technician, please contact them directly. Only in circumstances where you are unsatisfied with how they have responded to your issue, will we intervene. We will investigate to try and resolve complaints, but ultimately Click4 cannot be held liable for any losses or claims that may arise.
Technicians should however, deal with any issues professionally and efficiently. We can suspend or even terminate members if we feel they are not meeting their obligations set out within the agreement.
Network technicians reserve the right to terminate or rearrange the service due to the following..
The appliance is very old and/or has gone beyond a professional clean. Where attempting to carry out work may damage or ineffectively clean it (less than 70%).
Their working environment is not satisfactorily safe, ie loose vicious dogs, chemical odors, building deemed unsafe. And now of course COVID-19 please see below.
When the technician has had to cancel through no fault of their own. Regrettably, we do not offer a refund of the deposit. The operative may also charge a call out fee of £25.00 to cover their time and fuel. You may be able to re-book, but the charge above is still applied.
The technician/member should be able to book your oven for a professional clean. Trades people, including cleaners are permitted to continue working, and if required enter a customers property. But, inevitably must adhere to the governments guidelines by maintaining distancing, face coverings and sanitizing surfaces. We also expect customers to follow these rules, and advise them to mention it when the technician contacts them.
Click4 is not responsible in ensuring that its members and customers protect each other whilst work is being carried out.
Click4 members ie your technician can if they feel necessary, terminate the service immediately if they do not feel their working environment is COVID safe. If they have been present for under one hour they can charge a £25.00 call out charge. Present over one hour then they can charge the full amount of the agreed service price. (even if your oven is not complete).
Click4 will not offer a deposit refund on these occasions.
